Empowering Education for a Brighter Future
At WTW, we believe in fostering quality education and helping students build essential skills for their future.
Recently, we had the privilege of collaborating with Gonsalves College to provide English proficiency courses aimed at improving language skills for students ranging from preschool to upper classes.
This 4-day interactive session was conducted in partnership with HCC (Headway City College), where we focused on engaging students with a variety of activities that encouraged learning through participation. The sessions were designed to cater to different proficiency levels, and the enthusiastic participation from the students made it an enriching experience for everyone involved. We especially noticed that the younger, beginner-level students thrived in this hands-on, engaging environment.
In addition to the immediate success of the event, we saw an opportunity to further support Gonsalves College by launching a long-term project to enhance English language skills among the students. This initiative will address their needs and ensure that they are equipped with the tools to succeed in their academic and professional pursuits.
While the event was a success, we also observed the challenges the school faces due to a shortage of teachers. The limited teaching staff makes it difficult for students to receive the individual attention they deserve. We aim to work closely with the college in the future to support them in overcoming this obstacle and provide sustainable solutions that benefit both students and faculty.
