Learning Beyond Exams: A/L English Workshop at Christ King College, Ja-Ela
WTW Lanka recently conducted an Advanced Level English preparation workshop for Grade 12 students at Christ King College, Ja-Ela.This program moved beyond traditional exam-focused learning by transforming A/L English paper questions into interactive activities and group-based exercises.
Students engaged with real exam-style content, but instead of simply writing answers, they participated in activities and educational games designed to make learning both effective and enjoyable. This approach not only strengthened their subject knowledge but also built confidence, teamwork, and critical thinking skills—all essential for academic and personal growth.
The workshop demonstrated that exam preparation does not have to be stressful or monotonous. With the right methods, learning can be interactive, motivating, and impactful, helping students face their exams with greater readiness and confidence.
