UNITING HEARTS AND CARING SOULS
"Hands for Paws and Smile for Toes" is a heartening endeavor focused on fostering compassion and empathy within society while promoting animal welfare. With the invaluable support of the Embilipitiya MOH, the project has achieved significant milestones, ensuring the health and happiness of numerous animals while uniting individuals under a common cause.
Through this initiative, 73 dogs and 6 cats have received essential vaccinations, ensuring their well-being. Additionally, the project facilitated the adoption of two dogs, providing them with loving homes and a second chance at life. To further their reach and engage the community, the project established a dedicated Facebook page, "Hands for Paws," to raise awareness about animal welfare and inspire others to join their cause.
A highlight of their efforts was a successful food festival, where the Embilipitiya community came together to show their support. Beyond culinary delights, the festival served as a platform to raise vital funds for ongoing initiatives. Through the collective efforts and generosity of the community, significant strides have been made in spreading awareness and nurturing a culture of compassion for animals.
